Thanksgiving Card Art

Our new Thanksgiving card went to the printer today. I hope I am not sharing the image prematurely (it isn’t even Halloween, I know). What a great project for our Nest class. And what a great use of Montessori pin punching, too.

What a neat idea…I never thought of making leaf that way. I will share this with some ladies who teach Sunday School – that will make a nice project. BTW it is never too early to celebrate Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the comment. Each child in our class worked on a different kind of leaf. This one is a maple leaf. Introducing the children to different leaves supports their ability to visually discriminate shapes, classify and categorize. Please share your Sunday School projects, too.
